Pet portraits

Pet portraits are a great way to celebrate our dearest companions. I am passionate about capturing the spirit of every unique individual. I always sketch each animal prior to painting so I can enhance photos, adding life and character using my artistic skill.

I offer a range of popular standard sizes, if you require specific dimensions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Landscape commissions

As a fell runner I spend a lot of time exploring our beautiful countryside. I am inspired by the fall of light on the landscape, and the dramatic changes in familiar places though the four seasons. Gathering material for my next painting is a great excuse to lace up the trainers!

Wildlife compositions

I have undertaken numerous wildlife commissions, capturing scenes from photos or piecing together a composition from a safari encounter.

See the video in this section for one of two epic 7ft commissions I undertook for a client. The painting depicts a scene witnessed in Botswanna involving a wildebeest and a pack of painted dogs. He did not have a photo of this image, I created the composition from conversations about his encounter.

All commissions are hand painted original artworks, created from your photos or brief.

For most commissions you can simply order and pay online. my website is fully equipped with secure shopping pages, standard size options and other selections are available. Just follow the links below. If your commission is of a pet or landscape / safari image, I will work from your photos.
