First Workshop success!

Look at what we achieved

in 2 hours!

I got a group of friends to come to Brooklyn studios for the evening to try out my wildlife art workshop. All materials are provided and we had a great time drinking tea and exploring pastel techniques.

A big challenge with pastels is choosing the right palette as you don't really mix colours in the same way you would with paint. I've given this a lot of consideration and decided to provide all participants with a basic palette of around 12 carefully selected colours. These core shades will be sufficient to complete the painting. I will also make available a wide range of pastels, this will give scope for more free expression and extend the possibilities for the more confident artist.
